February Amazon Haul

Hey friends! It’s February and I wanted to bring you a few good finds from my browsing in Amazon. Admittedly, Amazon isn’t my go-to place to shop for fashion, however, it has some good pieces that are reasonably priced and a lot of times great basics for your closet. Since this month is the “Love” month, I tried to find some pinks, hearts and plain ole “cozy” things I loved from their site! So, here we go!

Look #1 Grey Heart Sweater

I’m starting out with this cute grey sweater with black hearts. I liked this sweater because you can create a bunch of different outfits with it. Also, most people will wear grey and black instead of a pink or red option. For a casual-chic look, I simply added this pair of black skinny denim, black suede ankle boots (suede boots no longer available, so I linked a similar pair), and a chunky pearl necklace. You could definitely dress it up by adding a white collared shirt, black trousers and a pair of heels. Throw in a statement earring and oversized bag and you are ready for a night out! One last option would be a pair of black joggers, the heart sweater, black slip-on sneakers and an oversized tote for a day of casual shopping. No matter what way you style it, this sweater is a keeper for less than $25.

Look #2 Mauve Tunic Split Neck Top

This tunic top is a super versatile piece for your closet. It is long enough to wear as a traditional tunic since it covers the bum entirely. I have styled it here with those same black skinny jeans from Look #1. I added a pair of slides (similar linked) and a pink oversized bag (similar linked) for fun. You could also front tuck the top, add a pair of tall black boots, and add a statement earring and bag for a more dressed up look. I can think of a couple of other ways to style the tunic to make it more or less dressy according to your needs. All in all, it is a great piece that will transition easily into spring!

Look #3 Pink Square Neck Top

When I saw this Jessica Simpson pink square neck, puffed sleeve sweater, I had to have it. I love the square neck feature and the waistband features of this top. However, I thought it would be a little longer in the bodice. So, I think I would size up one size if you are long in the torso like I am! Otherwise, it is a great piece you can easily style both dressy or casual. Here I have added a pair of side-zip black knit trousers, black suede heels, and a statement earring for work or dressier look. But, it also looks cute paired with white denim and slip-on sneakers for an easy day look. Either way, you will not be sorry you chose this cutie.

Look #4 Blush Hooded Jersey Cardigan

This jersey cardi is to die for! I would wear it every day if I could. I have worn it over my pj’s in the morning, with leggings and with my skinny jeans. I love everything about it. It is a SUPER soft jersey fabric, has pockets and hits about mid-thigh. The only drawback of this cardi is that it is not lined, so sometimes you can see inside the cardi to the pockets. I’m ok with that because it is a very casual piece in my closet.

Look #5 Extra Long Grey Cardigan

I’m in LOVE with the “duster” style cardigans right now! They are just the thing to elevate a more casual look. They also “cover” a lot of problem areas if wearing leggings or skinny jeans! This grey cardi is a lighter shade of grey, is lightweight and hits below the knee. It has front patch pockets and does not have any buttons. It is definitely a Must-Have in my book. I couldn’t find one thing I didn’t like about this long cardigan. I have paired it here with black leggings, a simple white v-neck tee, black slip-on sneakers, and an oversized tote bag.

Finally, I have a few other “non-fashion” related items I will write a separate post about. Both of the items are made by the company, Simple Modern. I have totally fallen in love with their backpack and insulated water bottles. However, they have many other items as well. So keep a lookout for that post coming soon!

Hopefully, you have found a few items here that are interesting to you. Or perhaps simply a few ways to wear some pieces you already have in your closet! Either way, please comment below your thoughts! I’d love to hear any other suggestions for things you want to see here on the blog! I’d be more than happy to do all the work for you when it comes to all your fashion needs!

Happy shopping friends!
