Hello everyone! It’s hard to believe it’s the end of July! The summer is flying by… Teachers are getting ready to go back to work, kids are getting ready for a new school year, moms are going to be switching to their “all things school” related activities. Whatever the case may be for you, I wanted to showcase some beautiful fashion ideas for this season. Pieces that are still weather appropriate AND affordable! Six outfit ideas that transition easily from work to errands and beyond! I’m loving the warm and neutral color palette of these outfits too.
Personally, anytime I have to go into an air conditioned building during these months, I am ALWAYS chilly! My solution is to carry a cardigan, utility jacket, or denim jacket to slip on quickly! It would be easy to add any one of these options to the outfits here. This would make each of the styles appropriate for early fall as well!
All of these styles are from @target. Most of them were under $30 with the exception of the skirt. @target is great about putting much of their fashion on sale regularly, so I know that you could easily pick up an entire outfit from head to toe for under $75. I found an adorable pair of lace-up sandals for these outfits. They would probably not be my first choice for “work” apperal though. It would be more appropriate to add a cute wedge or simple slide which I have linked many options on the @liketoknow.it app.
This v-neck dress has a sweet sense of retro-chic style. It is delightfully feminine with it’s 3/4 flutter sleeves. Most importantly, it has a breezy and comfy fit! Fits true to size. Pair the dress with these lace up sandals, a cute slide, or a wedge to suit the occasion. I have linked several options below!
Modern style meets subtle, feminine charm with this knee length t-shirt dress. The thing I like most about this dress is that it tapers slightly at the knee. You can easily dress this style up with a wedge, or keep it casual with these lace up sandals or simple slide. It comes in in off white or black. This dress runs a little big, so I would size down at least one size. Add interest and texture by adding some interesting accessories. I have linked several options below!
This wrap skirt and simple black tank top is easily my favorite look of this photo shoot. I love that the skirt has an A-line cut. This style has a fullness at the bottom, yet is tapered at the waist. Also, the bold leaf print adds interest to it. There is also an identical blouse that matches the print for this skirt. I found it a bit overwhelming, on me so I simply added this black tank top and some fun accessories to even out the look. The skirt runs a size small. I would suggest sizing up at least one size. The tank runs true to size. Again, you could easily take this look up a notch by adding a wedge, leather belt and clutch, and a white blouse. I have linked several options below.
Loving this all white maxi dress with a gold thread detailing that runs it. It is lined to about the knee. Simple, yet elegant style. You could easily add a heel or wedge to this dress and clutch for an elevated look. Or keep it classic with a gold sandal and bangles. Options linked below.
Fun and flirty! This outfit actually fits very nicely. It runs true to size. I have a long torso, so most jumpsuits are generally too short on me! Not this one! You could easily add a short sleeve t-shirt under it, and it would be darling as well. Pair it with some fun accessories, a summer bag, and you’re ready for a day with the girls! This dress was a favorite with the darling embroidery around the square neck. I also fell in love with the slight shirttail in the back! The fabric is lightweight, but not sheer. It is knee length, and runs true to size. It is a simple and classic look! Options linked below.

Tip: My suggestion for easy shopping is to do it online. I love @target, however it’s hit-or-miss a lot of times when shopping in-store. I end up traveling to multiple locations in hopes of finding the item, only to be disappointed when it’s not actually in stock. So, I’ve linked “all the things” for easy access and ordering.
